This 11x14 inch art print features a detailed, hand-painted watercolor painting that I created to showcase the entire Appalachian Mountain range of North America, which extends from northern Alabama to Newfoundland in Canada. The map highlights 9 sub-ranges that can be found within the mountains. Other illustrative elements include a landscape scene from Newfound Gap in the Smoky Mountains, ferns and purple mushrooms.
Materials: Printed by a local print shop in West Virginia on 100# textured white felt paper (for the look & feel of watercolor paper!).
