The Chimaki Tent is designed for those who like a bit of style in camp. If Ray and Charles Eames went camping, this would be their tent. The Chimaki is a two walled tent, a thick Canvo™ outer tent protects and thinner Canvo™ inner tent with a large mesh or Canvo™ door. The tent sleep two. It’s enough to standup straight inside. Unlike other one pole tent designs, the pole is on the outside of the tent so it doesn’t get in the way. The Chimaki can be used alone or as a component in the stunning Chimaki Village three room shelter.

Canvo™ is a mix of cotton and polyester. Compared to polyester, Canvo™ provides a superior camping experience. The material breathes so the tent does not become humid, it’s quieter in the wind, and it’s more durable. Canvo™ is commonly used for tents in Europe and Japan. It is used less commonly in North America due to the cost.
